Privacy Policy
Updated 17 October 2026. Batwana Kenya Limited, Nairobi, Kenya, is responsible for personal information it collects when providing event hire and family entertainment services.
Information and purpose
When an adult contacts us, we may receive their name, phone number, email, event date, location, guest count and messages. We use this to respond, quote, arrange services, handle payments, maintain records and address complaints. Our hosting and communications providers may process technical information needed to operate the service. Avoid sending a child's full name, birth date, photograph or health details in an initial enquiry.
Guided enquiry drafts
The guided enquiry prepares a brief in your browser without submitting it to a server or saving it in browser storage. It creates a random reference for your draft, not a reservation. Email includes the reviewed brief; WhatsApp includes only the reference and event type. Information leaves the page when you choose a messaging service. You must send the message in that service; Batwana cannot confirm delivery from this page.
Lawful grounds and children
Depending on the activity, we rely on steps requested before a contract, contract performance, legal obligations or legitimate interests as permitted by applicable law. Where consent is required, we seek it separately. Children should not submit enquiries. We seek appropriate authorization from parents or guardians before collecting identifiable images of children, and use separate permission before publishing such images.
Recipients and transfers
Information may be handled by Batwana staff and approved providers of hosting, email, messaging and payments. Messages sent through WhatsApp are also handled under WhatsApp's own privacy practices. Service providers may process information outside Kenya, subject to applicable transfer safeguards. We do not sell children's information or use it for behavioral advertising.
Retention and security
We keep records only for operational needs and applicable legal requirements, then delete or anonymize them. Retention periods depend on record type and legal obligations; contact us for a record-specific explanation. We use access restrictions and security procedures, but no electronic communication is risk-free.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, erasure or object to processing, and withdraw consent where consent is our basis. Email [email protected] with “Privacy request”. We may verify identity or parental authority before disclosing records. You may contact Kenya's Office of the Data Protection Commissioner at odpc.go.ke.
