The Saturday checklist

Seven things to check before the funpark arrives. Print it, walk your space with it, then send us the answers on WhatsApp and we will confirm what fits.

1. Space

   Measure the flattest open area, width and length, in metres. We plan 1 m walkways between units. The planner on our homepage draws your space to scale.

2. Ground

   Is it flat and firm? Soft or sloping ground rules out some inflatables entirely, and we will say so rather than risk it.

3. Power

   Each powered unit needs its own socket. Count the sockets within reach of the space. No mains power means a generator, at KES 11,000.

4. Water

   Water play needs a tap within reach and somewhere to drain.

   Face painting needs about 2 × 2 m with shade. A gazebo, a tree or a covered veranda all work.
