Accessibility
Parents, school heads and event organisers plan with us on every kind of device, often one-handed and in a hurry. This page says what we have done so the site works for everyone, what we know is not finished, and how to tell us when something gets in your way.
What the site does
- Keyboard. Everything works without a mouse. Focus is shown with a yellow outline and an indigo halo, chosen so it stays visible (at least 3:1) on every section, light or dark. The menu and the package details trap focus while open, close with Escape and return you to where you were.
- Screen readers. Headings, landmarks and tables carry their meaning, including when tables re-flow into rows or cards on a phone. The space planner announces its result in one sentence (for example, "Both fit a 12 × 15 m space, with 1 m walkways"). Decorative shapes and the character are hidden from assistive technology.
- Motion. If your device asks for reduced motion, every animation is switched off or made instant; nothing is lost, every change still happens. Nothing moves on its own for more than a moment, nothing flashes, and nothing reacts to scrolling.
- Sound and tilt. The site is silent. "Party mode" adds small sounds and lets cards tilt with your phone, but only if you switch it on, and you can switch it off at any time.
- Touch. Every control is at least 48 × 48 pixels, and the main buttons are 56 pixels tall on phones. On a phone, the menu, WhatsApp and Call buttons sit at the bottom of the screen, within reach of your thumb.
- Reading. Text meets WCAG contrast (body text well above 4.5:1). Prices, ratios and sizes never animate. Pages work at 200% zoom and on screens as narrow as 320 pixels.
- Data. The site is small and fast, and if your browser asks to save data, the optional extras are not downloaded.
What is not finished
- The main photograph is a placeholder and will be replaced with a real photograph of our crew.
- The "Will it fit?" planner draws your space visually; the same information is always in the "All specs" table and in the planner's written summary.
